Our People

Jack S. Dill is the President of J.S. Dill Auctions, Inc.  He is a licensed, bonded and insured professional auctioneer in the State of Pennsylvania.  As well, he is licensed by the Pennsylvania Auctioneer’s Association as a full-time auctioneer with an excellent record of performance.
 
Jack is a graduate of Harrisburg Community College’s School of Auctioneering.  His experience includes a deeply-rooted knowledge of the antiques industry as well as professional activities with seminars, trade fairs, antiques appraisals, charitable and related industry events.
 
Jack resides in Beaver County, PA and common bonds will always be found with him through his love for animals.
 
Robert W. Hanks is the Vice President of J.S. Dill Auctions, Inc.  He performs all administrative, fiscal and marketing activities for the corporation. 
 
Bob is a graduate of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, School of Liberal Arts.  Having been self-employed for the last 26 years Bob brings the business acumen to the internal operations of the company.
 
Bob resides in Freedom, PA and shares in Jack’s passion for animals.
 
Brian D. Detch is an Apprentice Auctioneer for the company.  In conjunction with this activity he functions as our Materials Handling Manager and Merchandise floor person.
 
Brian has been with J.S. Dill Auctions, Inc. for six years and remains a vital and valued member of our team.  He and his family reside in Evans City, PA.
 
John D. Nehr is also an Apprentice Auctioneer for the company.  In addition to this John manages our furniture department.  His work is critical to the effective maintenance, storage, inventory, display and merchandising of this component of our business.
 
John is a highly-valued member of our team and has been with the organization for ten years.  He resides with his family in Zelienople, PA
 
Barbie Berquist is our secretary and cashier.  A 15-year veteran of the company, she remains a valued member of our auction team.  Barbie has been with us literally since “day one”.   She has an extensive background in the retail,  auction and antiques industry and is a seasoned fiscal manager.

Barbie resides with her family in Monaca, PA.
 
Jeff Mars decided six months ago to join our staff as a runner on our sales floor.  While being a general contractor by trade during auction evening hours Jeff makes the time to join us.  He is also a Federal Firearms Licensed dealer and participates in a locally-televised appraisal show.
 
Jeff’s knowledge of early, old and older toys and military helps us greatly in these capacities.  He and his family reside in Cranberry Twp., PA
 
Candy Titus is the owner of “Candy’s Corner” our food service area.  She is a licensed professional in the preparation and sale of delicious home made food.  Her service has become an integral part of our auctions.  Candy is known for her excellent food, friendly manner and total dedication to our customers’ taste buds – in all conditions and locations.  Candy has been with us for twelve years.
 
So that is our company and our “family”.  Cumulatively these people represent roughly 106 years’ experience in doing what they do best.  Please take a moment to meet us all – we welcome the privilege of making your acquaintance.
